Basil

Basil, also known as sweet basil, is considered to be one of the top aphrodisiacs in many cultures and has long been a symbol of seduction.  It is said to have a warming effect on the body and promote circulation.  In India, it has been attributed to stimulating sex drive and boosting fertility in addition to producing a sense of well being.  In some parts of Italy it is even considered to be a token of love.  Its fragrance is deemed so seductive that historically women have even sprinkled basil on their breasts, but is thought to have an intense stimulating effect on both partners.  Brings a whole new perspective to pesto sauce, which when it's really good, I have been known to have the impulse to take a bath in it.
